Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage will release her new album, This One Is Personal, on August 29, 2025. The project is her first full-length body of work since Celia in 2020.
The album, recorded in Nashville, London, and Lagos, explores themes of pain, growth, and resilience, blending raw emotion with her afrobeats style.
Unlike her previous projects, the album has few collaborations, featuring only Skepta and Taves. Savage said this choice was intentional to highlight authenticity and vulnerability in her music.
During a fan Q&A before the announcement, she described the album as a reflection of her personal journey and challenges in recent years. The session generated excitement among fans worldwide, underscoring her influence as one of Afrobeats’ leading voices.
