TikTok has rolled out its new platform, TikTok for Artists, in Nigeria to provide musicians and their teams with tools to expand their global reach.
The all-in-one dashboard, introduced globally earlier this year, offers daily insights on song performance, fan engagement, and audience demographics. It also provides guides and resources to support long-term career development.
“With the launch of TikTok for Artists in Nigeria, we’re giving artists and their teams access to insights that can help them engage their fans in more meaningful ways and grow their careers globally,” said Toyin Mustapha, TikTok’s Head of Music Partnerships for the UK, Ireland, and sub-Saharan Africa.
The platform includes a pre-release feature that enables artistes to build campaigns for upcoming albums and allows fans to pre-save songs on Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming services.
British-Nigerian artiste Jordan Adetunji described the initiative as a “game changer,” noting it will help artistes and their teams plan smarter promotional campaigns.
TikTok said the Nigerian launch reflects its commitment to Africa’s creative economy and its goal of helping artistes build sustainable international careers.
