Former WBC cruiserweight champion, Tony Bellew has praised Anthony Joshua’s handling of negotiations for an all-British fight with Tyson Fury.
The pair have agreed to fight on December 3 in Cardiff in what is expected to be one of the biggest fights in British boxing history.
However, the Gypsy King announced on Monday that the fight had been called off after Joshua failed to sign his contract by the deadline of 5 p.m. Despite this, Matchroom Boxing and Queensberry Promotions are said to be working hard behind the scenes to finalize the deal.
Given the amount of attention Fury has received in recent weeks, Bellew, is not surprised by his actions and recent antics, but has praised Joshua for keeping the negotiations professional.
