Unreleased music by Beyoncé and other confidential tour materials were stolen from a vehicle in Atlanta just days before the singer’s four-night Cowboy Carter tour stop in the city, authorities have confirmed.

According to an Atlanta police report, the theft occurred on July 8, when hard drives containing unreleased songs, show footage plans, and setlists were taken from a rented black Jeep Wagoneer used by Beyoncé’s choreographer, Christopher Grant, and dancer Diandre Blue.

Police said the pair had parked the SUV outside a local food hall and gone inside. When they returned, they discovered the vehicle’s rear window smashed and two suitcases missing. The suitcases reportedly contained “personal sensitive information for the musician Beyoncé,” including five jump drives with watermarked and unreleased music, past and future show footage plans, and detailed setlists.

In addition to the music material, a laptop, designer clothing, and Apple AirPods were also stolen. Authorities attempted to track the missing items using the laptop and AirPods, and said they recovered “two very light prints” after dusting the vehicle for evidence.

An arrest warrant has since been issued, though the suspect’s identity has not been disclosed. As of now, it is unclear whether any of the stolen items have been recovered. Beyoncé’s representatives have not yet commented on the incident.

Beyoncé is currently performing in Atlanta as part of her Cowboy Carter stadium tour, with shows running from July 10 through July 15. Her husband, rapper Jay-Z, made a surprise appearance during the third night of her Atlanta performances.

Christopher Grant, the choreographer involved in the incident, has worked with global stars such as Shakira, while dancer Diandre Blue appeared alongside Beyoncé in a 2024 Super Bowl commercial that featured two singles from her Cowboy Carter album, released earlier this year.
