Chris Nwabueze Ngige, the Nigerian minister of labor and employment, is trending on Twitter today, October 3, as users express their annoyance at the fact that he left a meeting with ASUU on Sunday, October 2nd regarding the eight-month strikes.
Maazi FA, a user, posted: “All you need to know about how the APC handles urgent issues that require immediate attention is what Ngige did during the most recent meeting with ASUU. Imagine ignoring students who merely want to return to class. Vote aggressively to REMOVE APC, please.”
Users Additionally discussed his bad behavior and ideologies, noting how he acted without regard for the plight and needs of students.
