On Saturday, 11 people died in a road accident at Hawan Jaki village on the Alkaleri-Gombe Road in Bauchi State’s Alkaleri Local Government Area.
Mr Yusuf Abdullahi, Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Bauchi State, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday that the collision injured eight other people seriously.
According to him, the collision involved a Yankari Express commercial truck and a Dangote articulated vehicle.
The reason of the collision, according to Abdullahi, was reckless driving.
