President Bola Tinubu has congratulated former Minister of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation, High Chief Edem Duke, on his 70th birthday.

In a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described Chief Duke as a patriot whose life has been devoted to national service, community development, and the promotion of Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage.

President Tinubu commended the former minister for his outstanding contributions to national development, citing his years of service at the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) and his tenure as Minister of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation, as well as Supervising Minister of Information.

The statement also acknowledged Chief Duke’s commitment to advancing Nigeria’s tourism sector and his pioneering efforts in the establishment of the Centenary City project in Abuja.

The President wished Chief Duke continued good health, happiness, and prosperity as he celebrates the milestone age of 70.
