People of Biafra, IPoB, stated yesterday that, contrary to claims that the organisation and the Eastern Security Network, ESN, are to blame for instability in the South East, they have assisted to curtail alleged state-sponsored armed militia activity in the zone.
According to a statement issued by IPoB’s Image Maker, Emma Powerful, the objective for organising ESN is to protect South East territory from terrorists disguised as herders in bushes and forests in South East, rather than to attack and frighten the people.
Powerful also declared that anyone who kills, kidnaps, steals automobiles, or collects ransoms in the name of IPoB or Nnamdi Kanu is an adversary and has no place in IPoB’s effort to restore Biafra. Stating that the group will weed out both sponsored and individual criminals.
