The Lagos State Government has stated that commercial vehicle drivers in the state must be taught at various parks in order to reduce the number of road accidents as the year comes to a close.

According to a statement issued on Sunday, Mrs Afusat Tiamiyu, General Manager of the Lagos State Drivers’ Institute, revealed this during an event conducted at Iyana Ipaja.

Tiamiyu went on to say that the institute has collaborated with the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Vehicle Inspection Service, and the Federal Road Safety Corp to bring this year’s ‘Ember months’ safety advocacy campaign’ to Iyana Ipaja motor park in order to ensure safer roads.
