Atiku Abubakar, Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has congratulated Nigerians on the 62nd anniversary of the country’s independence, assuring that the country will rise again.
This was stated by the former vice president in a statement issued by his Media Office on Friday in Abuja to commemorate the 2022 Independence anniversary.
According to Abubakar, the celebration of Nigeria’s Independence Day should reawaken citizens’ consciousness toward the consolidation of unity among the country’s diverse people.
According to the PDP presidential candidate, Nigeria has come a long way since its independence 62 years ago, overcoming various challenges along the way.
He urged all Nigerians to give the issue of building national unity primary attention as the citizens go into the general elections next year.
