Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike stated on Thursday that Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi has all the “characteristics” to govern Nigeria.
Wike also promised to help Obi, a former Anambra State governor, with logistics for his presidential campaign.
The Rivers governor made the announcement in Port Harcourt, the state capital, at the commissioning of the Nkpolu-Oroworokwo Flyover.
Obi and his running companion, Datti Baba-Ahmed, were in the state capital to dedicate the current administration’s ninth flyover. They were greeted enthusiastically by a big gathering of their supporters.
