A man simply identified as Taiye has hacked his wife, Endurance to death in Oviorie-Ovu community, Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to reports, the suspect fled the scene to his sister’s house in Abraka after committing the crime.
As of the time of this report, it is still unclear why the suspect killed the deceased.
It was discovered that the deceased had eight children before marrying the suspect.
The suspect’s sister invited the Police who eventually took him into custody.
In a text message sent by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, the Delta State Police Command, led by CP Ari Muhammed Ali, confirmed the report.
