CRIME: Abuja Big Boy Turned Kidnapper, Weeps In Police Custody.

Abuja socialite and self acclaimed “Big Boy” popularly known as John Lyon, is presently sitting in police custody over an allegation of kidnapping.

In a video clip going viral on social media, John Lyon, is seen clad in a pair of boxers and sobbing like a child while pleading for mercy, stating he was only involved in two kidnap operation and asked to be released because his wife just gave birth.

Prior to his arrest and exposure as a suspected kidnaper and armed robbery kingpin on Saturday, September 24, John Lyon was well-known for flaunting large sums of money on social media and encouraging his followers to “hustle,” as well as giving motivational talks to Nigerian youths about the importance of hard work.

However, a man claiming to be one of Lyon’s victims claimed to have seen him while he was imprisoned. Although his face was not visible in the video, the man, who also spoke in pidgin, shouted loudly.

He also posted photos of himself with police officers acting as bodyguards at an APC event and at a church service where he is seen singing and praising God.
