The Federal Government, in an attempt to stay true to its promise, on Tuesday October 4, has approved the registration of Congress of Nigerian University Academics (CONUA), a breakaway faction of ASUU.
This move is perceived as a direct attempt to clip the wings of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
More so, the government approved the registration of the Nigerian Association of Medical and Dental Academics (NAMDA) as a trade union.
He said the two unions would operate along with ASUU.
