The former president of the United States of America, Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle are marking their 30th wedding anniversary.
Former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle have been married for 30 years.
Obama, the 44th President of the United States from 2009 to 2017, met Michelle in 1989 while working as a summer associate at her legal firm. They married three years later on October 3, 1992.
Malia and Natasha (Sasha) were born to the couple in 1998 and 2001, respectively.
Celebrating three decades of marriage, the first African-American President of the United States shared flashbacks and new images with his wife, noting that he won the lottery the day they married.
Barack took to his Twitter to celebrate.

The former first lady in return, shared an old wedding photo with Barack. She expressed her appreciation for having her husband by her side for the past 30 years while reiterating her love for him.
