Afenifere, the Pan Yoruba Socio-Political Group, has responded to Rotimi Akeredolu, the chairman of the South West Governors Forum, alleging that he does not represent for Yoruba.
Recall that Akeredolu had slammed the organization for backing Obi, claiming that Afenifere does not speak for the Yoruba people on the endorsement of Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and that Afenifere is divided by the alleged endorsement.
However, in response to Akeredolu’s outburst, Afenifere’s General Secretary, Chief Olusola Ebiseni, stated in an Akure statement that the group’s position was irrevocable.
