Simon Lalong, Director-General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, has inaugurated a 40-man Local Organising Committee ahead of the launch of the party’s presidential campaign in Jos, Plateau State’s capital.
Lalong, who inaugurated the committee on Sunday in Jos, said it was part of the preparations to ensure the success of the November 15 event.
He encouraged committee members to make the event run smoothly, saying it would provide an opportunity for Plateau to reclaim its important role in Nigeria’s political history.
