The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council’s North-west branch has launched a grassroots house-to-house campaign in support of APC candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
This was revealed by Dr. Talatu Nasir, Assistant Secretary of Contact and Mobilisation Committee for Tinubu-Shettima PCC, at the directorate’s first meeting on Friday at Treasure Suite in Abuja.
Nasir revealed that the door-to-door mobilisation had begun earlier in order to counter the rising danger posed by the New Nigeria Peoples Party’s presidential candidate, Dr Rabiu Kwankwaso, in the North-West.
However, the Katsina State lawmaker believes it will have little impact on Tinubu’s fortunes ahead of the 2023 elections.
Meanwhile, Aminu Jaji, the Director of Contact and Mobilisation Committee, stated that the North-West APC region will choose Nigeria’s future President.
According to him, the area is grateful to Tinubu for making Major General Muhammadu Buhari’s (retd.) presidency a reality during the previous seven and a half years.
