The Lionel Messi-led Argentina national team has been overwhelmed by an underrated Saudi Arabia at the on going world Cup.
Lionel Messi who kicked in the first goal put Argentina ahead from the spot in the 10th minute, followed by another by Lisandro Martinez, who thought he had scored the second goal 19 minutes later but was disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
The Saudis returned to the second half with a different mindset with Saleh Al-Shekri
levelling the scoreline in the 49th minutes and Dawsari secured the victory for Arabians ahead in 53rd minute.
Argentina is one of the teams widely tipped to win the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
