Following the reopening of the ministry, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, a prominent clergyman and the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Chaplaincy, was transferred to a monastery.
Mbaka’s adoration ministry was shutdown in June following his vitriolic insult on Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi. Mbaka was transferred and a new chaplain, Rev Fr Anthony Amadi, was announced upon the resumption of the ministry on Sunday, October 2nd.
Mbaka’s supporters, on the other hand, are dissatisfied with the decision. They can be seen in the video chanting “No” when he looks at them from the balcony of the building he was in.
