On Saturday, youths rallied in favor of the governing All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate Bola Tinubu and his vice presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima, in the 2023 presidential election.
After meeting at Maryland Roundabout in a public parade to Police College, Ikeja GRA, the youths, comprising Hausa and Ndigbos groups, stormed Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way. The support group led by Seyi Tinubu, son of APC Presidential candidate, titled the event “Eko Youth Walk for Tinubu/Shettima, Governor Sanwo-Olu/Re-election.” The Igbo group was led by Ambassador Dr. Ginika.
According to numerous speakers, Tinubu is the only competent and qualified candidate to save Nigeria and lead it out of the current socioeconomic issues it faces.
Meanwhile, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, Chairman of the APC Lagos State Chapter, thanked and praised the youths of Lagos for their large turnout at the rally in support of Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu, governorship candidates in the next general elections.
