TRADEGY: Thugs Who Killed Youth, Faces Jungle Justice

On Saturday, October 29th, some hoodlum stabbed a youth to death in the Yan Doya community of Plateau State’s Jos North Local Government Area.

The victim was walking down the street when the gang attacked him with a knife, resulting in his death.

An angry mob chased after the hoodlums and killed one of them, according to an eyewitness who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

“An incident occurred yesterday night (Saturday) behind Yan Doya Market by Yan Ganda in the Jos North LGA,” an eyewitness said.

“A man was walking back home when he was attacked with a knife by a group of thugs.” He collapsed and died.

“When they heard what had happened, some people ran after the thugs, who had fled the scene.” However, one of them (thugs) was apprehended and killed.”

Some police officers later arrived at the scene and took the body of the suspected hoodlum, while the stabbed man’s relatives took him away for burial on Sunday, October 30th around 11 a.m.

When contacted, DSP Alabo Alfred, spokesman for the Plateau State Police Command, said the incident had not been reported to his office.
