TRADEGY: Commissioners Convoy Clash With Motorbike, Claims Two Lives In Bauchi

A vehicle in the convoy of Bauchi State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Nuhu Zaki, collided with a motorcycle, killing two people.

In the fatal crash, one other person received bruises and a fracture.

The accident occurred on Wednesday, November 16, at approximately 2.25pm, in Miya town, along Miya – Warji in the state’s Warji Local Government Area, and involved five male adults.

The commissioner immediately rushed the victims to the Kafin Madaki General Hospital, where two people were pronounced dead.

Yusuf Abdullahi, Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Bauchi State Command, confirmed the incident on Thursday, November 17th.

According to him, the government vehicle, a white Toyota Hilux with the license plate BA18 A08, collided with a commercial Bajaj Boxer motorcycle driven by Muhammad Muawuya.

According to Abdullahi, the fatal crash was caused by a speeding violation, which resulted in a loss of control.
