A businessman, Chief Emmanuel Bini, was assassinated by gunmen in Agbarho community, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State.
It was discovered that a young man identified as his sales attendant was also killed in the attack.
According to sources, the heinous incident occurred on Saturday when hoodlums attacked the deceased Chief’s chemist and PoS shop, which was located at the popular Five-Junction in Agbarho.
While the salesman was killed at the shop, the hoodlums took the Chief away in a vehicle, and his lifeless body was discovered later that morning in the Ebrumede community of the state’s Uvwie Local Government Area.
DSP Bright Edafe, Delta State Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the incident when contacted.
He did, however, state that the police are “only aware of the Chief’s death.”
