TEACHERS DAY: Nigeria’s Future Heavily Dependent On Education — Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari stated Wednesday that education is critical to Nigeria’s future, stressing that no society can advance beyond its educational attainments.

In light of such developments, the President stated that his administration was resolved to restore teachers, and the teaching profession to their proper places.

Buhari, who was represented by the vice president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo; speaking during the observance of the 2022 World Teachers’ Day in Abuja, impressed that,  education was one of the fundamental differences between healthy, well-functioning, and successful nations and poorer communities.

“We owe so much of our well-being as a nation to our educators at every level”.
