The OnePlus Ace 2 will have a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, according to tipster Yogesh Brar (Twitter: @heyitsyogesh). This OnePlus smartphone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
A 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor are said to be included in the triple rear camera setup. The OnePlus Ace 2 may also include a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
According to reports, the OnePlus Ace 2 will run Android 13 with a ColorOS skin on top. It could have a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. It is said to have 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of RAM as well as 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
OnePlus has yet to reveal its price and release date. According to a recent report, the OnePlus Ace 2 will compete with the Redmi K60 and Realme GT Neo 5 at launch. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is also expected to power the latter two handsets.
To recall, the OnePlus Ace was released in April of this year with a starting price of CNY 2,499. (roughly Rs. 29,000). It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC and has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display.
