Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, who represents Katsina Central in the National Assembly, has refuted reports suggesting he is planning to leave the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

In a statement issued on Sunday night, Yar’adua dismissed the rumours as false and attributed them to media mischief.

“I wish to categorically reaffirm my unwavering commitment and support for the All Progressives Congress (APC),” he said.

He further declared his loyalty to President Bola Tinubu and urged the public and media to disregard any reports linking him to defection plans.

“It’s essential to clarify that not all individuals sharing the Yar’Adua surname imply a political association with me,” the senator added.
