The Lagos State Police Command said on Friday that its officers from the Ketu Division had apprehended seven traffic robbers who had assaulted a driver.
The criminals attacked an unnamed driver at the Kosofe bus stop on Ikorodu road before being apprehended by several police officers during a patrol.
As of the time this story was issued, details on the arrest and the identity of the accused were unknown. However, the state police command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that the arrest of the five suspects resulted in the capture of two more.
