The Military Pensions Board, MPB, has warned retired ex-soldiers/military retirees not to be misled by false information spreading on social media claiming that the MPB will begin verifying retired soldiers and officers on November 26, 2022.
The Pensions Board noted that the alleged information was lifted from a media organization’s website five years ago during the preparation for verification in 2017.
While noting that it is working toward conducting a verification exercise of military pensioners on its payroll, the Board stated that when all preparations for the exercise are completed, it will adequately notify all military pensioners of the date and time.
