Doren hospital where late BBNaija star Rico Swavey was brought and later died, has cleared itself and its personnel of all accusations following a video that went viral showing hospital employees videoing the deceased instead of attending to him.
According to the statement, although Rico Swavey was taken to the hospital’s emergency care unit, medical professionals performed first aid, and the good Samaritans who brought him in were informed of the gravity of the situation and the necessity for immediate neurosurgeon examination.
The hospital further stated that the victim was promptly referred to Evercare Hospital in Lekki Phase.
According to the statement, a thorough recommendation letter was written and distributed to the relatives, who grudgingly accepted the letter after considerable persuading. However, before leaving the hospital, Mrs. Ify Helen Eze and the good Samaritan who brought in the victim agreed to film a video to clear their names of being held accountable for the patient’s condition.
However, an unsettling section of the statement said that Rico Swavey was brought in unconscious with a Glasgow comma of 3/15 and smelled of alcohol, meaning that he was drunk at the time of the accident.
