Romelu Lukaku returned to Inter Milan training on Thursday, as the Belgian striker recovers from a thigh injury that has kept him out since August.
Lukaku has not played for Inter since injuring his left thigh during training in the days following his team’s Serie A defeat at Lazio.
He could, however, be on the bench for Saturday’s (October 22nd) match at Fiorentina and has a chance to play against Viktoria Plzen on Wednesday, October 26th.
Inter will advance to the last 16 of the Champions League with a game to spare if they defeat Plzen at the San Siro after defeating Barcelona in their previous two Group C games.
Simone Inzaghi’s side is five points behind group leaders Bayern Munich and currently sits seventh in Serie A, eight points behind league leaders Napoli.
