The 2025 Afrinvest Pre-season Tournament kicked off with thrilling matches at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, showcasing top-tier talent and preseason intensity.
In the opening game, Rangers International FC edged Purple Crown FC 1-0, thanks to a first-half strike from defender Monday Daniel.
The match served as valuable preparation for Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu and his team as they gear up for the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
In the second fixture of the day, Ukaebulam Kelechi netted a brace to secure a 2-0 victory for Rangers U-19 over Onovo FC.
Great Achievers FC rounded off the day’s action with a hard-fought 1-0 win against Ingas FC.
