Mexico was eliminated from the World Cup on goal difference on Wednesday, after defeating Saudi Arabia 2-1 in a thrilling Group C match.
Mexico went on to win thanks to second-half goals from Henry Martin and Luis Chavez, although they ended third place, behind Poland following Salem Al-late Dawsari’s score.
