‎In addition to the prestigious honours, the President also announced a monetary reward for the team — the Naira equivalent of $100,000 for each of the 24 players and $50,000 for members of the technical crew.

‎The announcement was met with thunderous applause at the State House as President Bola Tinubu commended the Super Falcons for their remarkable performance, lauding them for “inspiring a new generation of Nigerian girls” through their resilience, teamwork, and sporting brilliance.

‎In a thrilling final held in Rabat on Saturday, the Super Falcons staged a dramatic comeback to defeat host nation Morocco 3–2.

Esther Okoronkwo led the charge, netting a goal and providing two assists in an electrifying second-half display.
