Police Arraign Two For Allegedly Terrorising Lagos Traders.

Abiodun Adewole, 25, and Lekan Sonibare, 29, have been charged with terrorizing traders in the Agbotikuyo neighborhood of Agege, Lagos, by Chief Magistrate L.O. Owolabi of the Samuel Ilori Court, Ogba.

Adewole and Shonibare were charged by the traders of endangering their lives and property.

According to reports, the police detained them after the traders’ union filed a formal complaint. The two defendants face three counts of conspiracy, threat to life, and conducts likely to cause a breach of the peace.

According to the prosecution, Josephine Ikhayere, the accused committed the crimes on September 30.

Chief Magistrate Owolabi granted them bail in the sum of N150,000 with two sureties each in like sum.

The matter was adjourned till November 3 for mention.
