Members of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP’s National Working Committee have appealed to all party faithful who have expressed divergent views and opinions to sheathe their swords and unite to ensure the party’s victory in the upcoming general elections.

The members reaffirmed their support for the 97th NEC meeting’s decision to portray the Party as a united family in the future.

Yunana Iliya, Chairman of the party’s National Ex-officials Forum, representing the North-Central zone, made the appeal at a press conference held on Thursday at the party’s National Headquarters in Abuja.

The forum brings together 36 elected party leaders from the country’s six geopolitical zones.

Chief Iliya urged all leaders and members who were dealing with one or more issues to use the internal conflict resolution mechanism provided by the Party’s Constitution.
