Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state has stated his reasons for not supporting the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Ortom said he would not back a politician that sees nothing wrong with armed Fulani herdsmen slaughtering innocent Benue people.
The Governor spoke in Makurdi at a State Banquet hosted by the Benue state government for visiting G-5 Governors Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Okezie Ikpeazu, Seyi Makinde, and Nyesom Wike.
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State stated that the PDP’s G-5 Governors, dubbed the “Integrity Governors,” were on a mission to save Nigeria.
He stated that they were not looking for personal advancement or to battle anyone, but rather to get the right things done.
