Prince Gabriel Nwanazia, a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State, has defected with over 200 others to the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state.
Nwanazia, who defected to the APC on Saturday, September 24th, in the state’s Aniocha North Local Government Area, said he did so because of unresolved crises in the PDP.
Mr. Emmanuel Oweazim, the only serving APC councilor in Delta State, revealed that;
“2023 is the end of PDP in Delta state, one of our problem during the last election period had joined APC today and a lot of persons are expected to join APC soon.”
The crisis has caused the PDP to lose one of its henchmen, and by the time Omo-Agege emerges in 2023, I will no longer be the state’s sole councillor.”
The Aniocha North APC Chairman, Mr. Mathew Chinye, Adizue Elueaka, and the party’s House of Assembly candidate, Mr. Bazim Boise, welcomed the defectors and stated that the defection of youth mobilizer, Nwanazia, in Delta politics, marked the end of the PDP in the state.
