PDP: Babayemi Accepts Defeat

Former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) factional governorship candidate Osun State chapter, Prince Dotun Babayemi, has stated that he has no regrets challenging Governor-elect Senator Ademola Adeleke’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

Babayemi unsuccessfully challenged Adeleke’s nomination by the PDP in the Federal High Court in Osogbo, the Appeal Court in Akure, and the Supreme Court respectively.

In a statement signed on Friday, the PDP chieftain congratulated Adeleke on the Supreme Court’s decision on Thursday.

He stated that efforts should be made by indigenes and residents to ensure that Osun becomes one of the best states as envisioned by the founding fathers, he further thanked party leaders, supporters, party members, and the people of the state for their unwavering support throughout the struggle.
