Senator Iyorchia Ayu, National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, has returned to the country after spending two weeks in Europe.
Mr Simon Imobo-Tswam, Special Adviser to the National Chairman on Media, made the announcement on Friday in Abuja.
Imobo-Tswam stated that Ayu, who left the country on September 14, 2022, returned to Abuja around 7 p.m. via the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
Ayu had handed over to the party’s Deputy Chairman North, Iliya Damagun, and had informed the Independent National Electoral Commission of the transfer.
