More than 500 participants from 40 countries are expected at this year’s Abuja Business Investment Expo, scheduled for October 22–25, 2025, at the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Organised by the Abuja Investment Company Limited (AICL) with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, as chief host, the event will bring together top government officials, industry leaders, investors, diplomats, financiers, policymakers, and innovators from within and outside Nigeria.
The 2025 edition, themed “Empowering Sustainable Growth: Unlocking Potential in Emerging Markets,” will showcase investment opportunities in the Federal Capital Territory, other sub-national economies, and emerging markets. The programme will feature panel discussions, keynote speeches, business matchmaking sessions, debates, and networking opportunities.
Group Managing Director/CEO of AICL, Dr. Maureen Tamuno, said the summit will provide a platform to explore investment prospects, tackle challenges in emerging markets, and develop practical solutions.
She listed the event’s objectives to include promoting Abuja’s economic and investment potential across sectors, fostering dialogue between policymakers and investors, facilitating public-private collaborations, connecting local entrepreneurs with international partners, and sharing insights on market trends, regulations, and opportunities.
The Expo is part of the FCT Minister’s strategy to position Abuja as a global investment hub, promote sustainable urban development, and diversify the economy through strategic partnerships and private sector engagement.
