D’Tigers set the pace early, storming to a 29–16 first-quarter lead before stretching the advantage to 48–33 by halftime.
The momentum carried into the second half, with Nigeria edging the third quarter 20–14. The final period ended level at 19–19, sealing a commanding win and guaranteeing passage to the knockout stage with a game to spare.
Nigeria now tops Group B with four points from two games and is expected to rotate the squad in their final group clash against Cameroon on Sunday, August 17, tipping off at 5:30 PM Nigeria time.
