According to an official release, Mr Olatundun Olayinka has taken over office as the new Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Ondo.
Daniel Aidamenbor, the command’s Public Relations Officer, made the announcement on Wednesday in Akure. He stated that Olayinka has taken the position of Dr Hammed Abodunrin, who is now enrolled in a one-year study at the War College in Abuja.
Aidamenbor emphasized the new commandant’s adherence to the vision of the NSCDC Commandant-General.
The public relations officer went on to say that Olayinka was eager to build on the accomplishments of his predecessor.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Olayinka formerly worked at the Directorate of Critical National Asset and Infrastructure.
