Kano Pillars have announced the signing of defender Benjamin Ozor ahead of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
In a report by Daily Post, Ozor joins the former NPFL champions from Nigeria National League (NNL) outfit Heartland FC, becoming the Sai Masu Gida’s first addition of the summer transfer window.
The club is expected to make several more signings before the window closes, as they continue to strengthen their squad for the new campaign.
Meanwhile, Kano Pillars are yet to appoint a new permanent head coach following the departure of Usman Abdallah in May.
Reports indicate that Abia Warriors’ technical adviser, Imama Amapakabo, is currently the front-runner for the role.
