Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, the Igbo socio-cultural organization, said it received the Court of Appeal’s verdict on Thursday; stating the release and acquittal of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, with tremendous joy, happiness, and relief.
In a statement made in response to his release, titled “Nnamdi Kanu-History Vindicates The Just,” Ohanaeze expressed hope that whatever he may have lost in persecution will be compensated for by his heroism.
