Slovenian top-flight side NK Celje have officially confirmed the signing of Nigerian midfielder Papa Daniel from Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) outfit, Niger Tornadoes.
According to Daily Post, The 23-year-old midfielder has signed a three-year deal with the Slovenian PrvaLiga club, marking his second move abroad.
Daniel previously played for Turkish side Adanaspor.
Prior to finalizing the deal with NK Celje, Daniel was in advanced talks with Czech club MFK Karviná, but negotiations eventually broke down.
Daniel recently featured for the Super Eagles B team that qualified for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
He was also part of the main Super Eagles squad that lifted the Unity Cup Invitational title in London this past May.
