The Police Service Commission (PSC) has extended the deadline for applying for constable positions in the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) for the 2022 batch, by one month.
This was revealed in a statement made by the PSC’s Head of Press and Public Relations, Mr. Ikechukwu Ani, September 25, 2022, in Abuja.
In order to allow adequate time and accommodate all interested candidates, Ani stated that the recruitment portal, which was initially slated to close on September 26th, would stay open to applicants until October 26th.
He urged those who were eligible but were unable to apply to take advantage of the extension.
He pledged the commission’s commitment to ensuring that all applicants interested in a career in the police departments were not turned down.
Ani also stated that the commission would follow through on its established objective of conducting a transparent and merit-based police recruitment process.
