Barrister Chris Green, the Rivers State Commissioner for Sports, has challenged Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, the newly elected President of the Nigeria Football Federation, with reviving the country’s ailing football.

Green, who also serves as the Chairman of the Rivers State FA and voted as a state representative, praised the election that produced Gusau as President but urged the new President to go to work immediately.

During the Aminu Maigari era, the former head of the NFF Technical and Development Sub Committee stated that Gusau must try to revitalize football, which had been comatose under the previous administration.
