The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced the appointment of Manu Garba as the new Head Coach of the U17 Boys National Team, the Golden Eaglets.
Garba, a seasoned tactician, returns to the role with an impressive pedigree, having guided the Golden Eaglets to victory at the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates — Nigeria’s fourth triumph at the tournament.
He also steered the team to the finals of the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup in Brazil, further cementing his reputation as one of the most successful youth coaches in the country’s history.
With a strong history of nurturing young talent and achieving results on the global stage, Garba is expected to bring renewed vigor to the team.
He will officially assume duties on Sunday, ahead of the WAFU B U17 Boys Tournament, which Nigeria is set to host in September.
