Harry Maguire has been left out of Manchester United’s pre-season tour squad to the United States due to personal reasons. Sky Sports News reports that the defender may still join up with the squad later in the tour.
Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia have also been excluded from the traveling party. All four players are currently available for transfer and will not take part in the club’s pre-season plans. Marcus Rashford is also absent, as he closes in on a potential loan move to Barcelona.
Teenage full-back Harry Amass is not included either, with United opting to send him out on loan for the 2025/26 campaign.
New signings Diego Leon, Matheus Cunha, and Bryan Mbeumo have all been named in the squad. Lisandro Martinez also makes the trip as he continues his recovery from injury, though he is not yet fit to resume full training or match action.
Goalkeeper Andre Onana is expected to travel despite a recent injury setback.
